Chris Miao, Esq., is a managing partner at the Law Office of Lee & Miao, PLLC. Chris’ area of focus is real estate transactions.
Chris has over ten years of experience handling real estate transactions. Chris has closed transactions involving coops, condominiums, single family residences, multifamily residences, mixed used residential-commercial properties and commercial spaces. Chris takes pride in being able to offer all his clients the personal service that they deserve when purchasing or selling property.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science, graduating magna cum laude, in Legal Studies and Psychology from St. John’s University and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. Prior to founding Lee & Miao, PLLC, Chris was an associate attorney at Brown & Whalen, P.C., a boutique complex commercial litigation law firm.
Chris was an adjunct professor at CUNY Queens College and CUNY Baruch College where he taught legal research, legal writing, immigration, computers in the law office, and the real estate law. Chris was also a freelanced writer for legal publications and is published in the American Law Reports.
Chris Miao is admitted to practice in New York State, the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. Chris is a member of the New York City Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association, Asian American Real Estate Association and Business Network International. Chris served as a consultant for the Hotel Chinese Association of the USA.
